Made my restaurant site much better

So, I decided to finally get Orderable Pro for my little cafe's website. I was using just regular WooCommerce before, and it was... fine, but not really built for food orders. The restaurant ordering system part of Orderable Pro made a huge difference. Setting up the menu was way easier than I thought it would be, and I love how it handles the product add-ons for things like extra cheese or different drink sizes. My customers are saying it's much smoother to order now. It just feels more professional, you know? The dashboard is pretty straightforward too; I can see what's going on with orders at a glance. It took me a bit to figure out the holiday scheduling, but once I got it, it was cool.

Solid value for the money

I was looking for a decent restaurant ordering system for my new diner and found Orderable during their holiday sale. I picked up the Orderable Pro plan for a pretty good discount, around 30% off, which made it a much better deal than some of the other options I saw. It came with the checkout manager and the menu builder, which were the main things I needed. Setting up the custom checkout fields was straightforward, letting me ask for specific dietary notes. The overall value for what I paid felt really good. It was worth the purchase, especially with the savings I got.

What's the deal with payment gateways? Can I use Stripe with this, or am I stuck with PayPal?

P Phil 2 months ago
It uses WooCommerce for payments, so whatever gateways WooCommerce supports, Orderable will work with. Definitely Stripe, PayPal, etc.

Basically, if your WooCommerce setup handles it, Orderable will too. So yeah, Stripe is a go.

Has anyone actually used Orderable for multiple restaurant locations? Trying to figure out if it's a pain to manage all that.

T Tom Beaumont 2 months ago
Yep, I use it for three spots. It's actually pretty solid, you can configure each location separately. Not too bad to handle.

I haven't personally, but I've seen other users in forums talk about it working well for multiple sites. Seems like it's built for that.

Is Orderable compatible with all WordPress themes, or do I need to worry about it breaking my site?

O Omar 1 month ago
It's designed to work with pretty much any theme that follows WP standards. I've used it with a couple of different ones and never had an issue.

AFAIK, it's theme-agnostic. You shouldn't have problems with most modern themes. If it's a super custom or ancient one, maybe double-check, but usually fine.

I saw something about a Black Friday sale. Does Orderable usually do big discounts for that?

R Renee 2 months ago
Oh yeah, Black Friday/Cyber Monday is usually when they drop some pretty sweet deals, like 30-40% off. Worth waiting for if you can.

They almost always have a BFCM sale. It's probably their biggest discount period, usually annual licenses get a decent chunk off.

Hey guys, thinking of getting Orderable Pro. Does anyone know if it's a one-time purchase or if I'll be paying every year?

J Jared 2 months ago
It's usually a yearly thing for the regular licenses. They do have a lifetime deal sometimes though, keep an eye out for that.

Yeah, pretty sure the standard one is subscription-based. But like the other person said, lifetime pops up now and then, especially during big sales.

Just wondering, do they offer refunds if I buy a license and it just doesn't work out for my business?

R Renee Romero 1 month ago
Yeah, they have a refund policy. I think it's 30 days, no questions asked if you're not happy with it. Check their site though to be sure.

Pretty sure they do. Most software like this has a 30-day money-back guarantee. I haven't had to use it myself, but it's there.

How does Orderable stack up against GloriaFood? Anyone tried both and have an opinion?

B Beth Brooks 1 month ago
I've used both. Orderable is way more integrated with WordPress and WooCommerce, giving you more control. GloriaFood is simpler but less flexible.

Orderable gives you full ownership over your data and site, unlike GloriaFood where you're more tied to their platform. If you want full control, Orderable wins.
